This all started when the Leader of Majlis Rasulullah heard the news that night that in Kalimalang area of Jakarta, a young man who was a drug dealer died of overdose. A couple of days before he died, he has repented and cried on his mom’s feet while having medical treatment in the hospital. But after he passed away, the people around the vicinity refused to pray for him in the mosque, and forbid his corpse to be buried in public cemetery.
After hearing such news, on that night Habib Munzir Almusawa quickly gathered Majlis Rasulullah community to visit and extend condolences to the young man’s house. The father of the young man cried, feeling touched but confused, he never thought Habib would visit him for condolences. He also confused, shy and afraid, because it has been a tradition in his vicinity, that if an Ulema visits the mourning family, he must be given en envelope with money in it. Let alone thinking about the tariff of this Habib, while he couldn’t even afford to hire a man who could recite Al Qur’an on that night. But after being explained that we would never receive the money, especially from those who are poor, he started to calm himself down. And still in his disbelief, we visited the grave of the young man who’s been buried near his house, and Habib Munzir Almusawa gave his short speech that really touched the hearts of the young man’s friends who attended the house, and they repented.
40 young men returned to the glorious of Allah Almighty and until now, this are is still being coordinated by the father. The sign that Allah Almighty has admitted the regret of the dead young man and that he passed away khusnul khatimah (die in a good way according to Islam) is the return of 40 of his friends to Allah’s way. It is because of his death and because of this young man; his friends found the right way to return to Allah Almighty. How great is Allah’s love towards his regretful servants, so that the died young man who has become repentant is blessed and poured with 40 merits of his regretful friends who attended his house that night.
